UPDATE: Although they did not update the 4.5 installation guide (linked above) it seems that they did update the full documentation (starts page 27): It indicates that standard msi switches should work - but that doesn't seem to be the case. I took a look at the documentation for 4.5 ( ), and it is unchanged from 4.4 other than the version number. Today, I superceded the application with version 4.5.0 build-5650915.exe with the same exact script (with the version number of the exe updated), but the reboot was no longer suppressed on my test machines. This is working fine, and suppresses the reboot and installs silently as expected. Start-Process $path -ArgumentList $path_args $path_args = '/s /v" /qn DESKTOP_SHORTCUT=1 REBOOT=Reallysuppress'

I am currently deploying 4.4.0 build-5171611 via SCCM using an install script that installs via: $path = ".\VMware-Horizon-Client-4.4.0-5171611.exe" As a general rule, if someone has flair, they almost definitely know what they're talking about.Īnyone deploying VWware Horizon View Client with SCCM? If so, I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this (please let me know if there is a more appropriate subreddit to post this type of issue/question): Microsoft employees typically have MSFT Official flair, and MVPs usually have MSFT Enterprise Mobility MVP with a link to their personal site/blog.Please send mod mail if you qualify and would like flair set for your account.
